What is it?

Paleontologists have been wondering since the fossils were found in Henan, China, in 1991. Since no answer was available at the moment, paleontologists named the fossil "Baby Louis." Sixteen years later, paleontologists discovered a new species named Gigantoraptor in Inner Mongolia, China. Since Gigantoraptor is a giant oviraptor that could grow as long as 26 feet (8 meters), it isn’t surprising that they laid huge eggs. In 2017, “Baby Louis” was eventually identified as an oviraptor and was named Beibeilong.
